How to create a perfect design on any surface, including chalkboards & posters:
Have you seen all those super talented artists creating amazing designs on their chalkboards and rollers?! I have a total HACK for you!
all you need are a few supplies, and you can create your own amazing wall art.
Supplies: Or you can go straight to my Amazon storefront where I have everything needed under Lettering and Art Supplies
- projector – this is the exact one I use!
- adaptor (if needed)
- sharpies/chalk – I actually prefer the really cheap white chalk over the bistro pens or chalk markers
- my favorite roller
- some cool chalkboards
scroll through the internet/pinterest and find a design that you love. I have an entire pinterest board dedicated to chalk/wall art here. You can also create your own designs and fonts on the computer (I use photoshop) – then save and send them to my phone. Whenever I use someone else’s design, I make sure to always give them credit for the design or use a FREE downloadable print.
Here are some of my holiday faves:
Hot Cocoa Print from Lily and Val
Here are some other designs I’ve accomplished using my projector:
To get started, find the area you want to draw your design. I have used my projector on an entire wall, all the way down to a sheet of paper. it just depend on how far away you place the projector.
Use the adaptor to connect your phone to the projector and find the image you want to use on your phone. Whatever is being seen on your phone, will be seen on the wall or area you are projecting onto. I use my projector for church activities, outdoor movies, the possibilities are endless. It really is a great device!
You can use it in the middle of the day or at night. It really doesn’t need to be SUPER dark to be able to see the image projected.
Get started! Just start tracing the image on your wall, chalkboard, roller, whatever!
Super simple, and it makes everything look 100% crisper, cleaner, and more professional!
