SOUTHERN OREGON WATERFALL TOUR

hiking with kids

We LOVE going on waterfall adventures! We go at least once a year, and try and hit as many as we can along our route. Here is a list of waterfalls we have done along the same route!

[google_maps id=”4873″]

  1. Mill Creek Falls
  2. Pearsoney Falls
  3. Whitehorse Falls
  4. National Creek Falls
  5. Clearwater Falls
  6. Watson Falls
  7. Tokatee Falls

  1. MILL CREEK FALLS:

This one is perfect if you don’t want to travel too far. We always take family and friends when they come into town. It’s an easy trail and you can see the falls from two different viewpoints along the path. We have also hiked to the opposite side of Mill Creek Falls’ viewpoint to the very top of the waterfall! 2. PEARSONEY FALLS

If you are heading to Mill Creek Falls, you have to hit Pearsoney Falls as well. They are right up the street from each other 🙂 We really loved how close the river was to the trail. More photos HERE

3. WHITEHORSE FALLS

This waterfall is not a hike at all. As you can see, our car is in the top corner of the pic at the trail parking lot. There is a lookout, and you can explore on your own!

4. NATIONAL CREEK FALLS

National Creek Falls blew us away! The trail down to the falls was beautiful and easy. We went with over 20 young kids, so it is definitely doable for all ages! More photos HERE

5. CLEARWATER FALLS

we LOVE Clearwater Falls. We have made it a must to visit this waterfall every year. It definitely needed two pictures… because although the falls are incredible themselves… our favorite part of the falls are at the very top!

6. WATSON FALLS

One of the top Waterfalls in Southern Oregon! What I love about this waterfall are all the amazing viewpoints along the trail. You get to see it from afar, from the bottom, and from half way up. If you’re brave enough, you can even hike right up under the water! more photos HERE

7. TOKATEE FALLS

The most impressive Waterfall in my opinion! There is a beautiful trail that leads to A LOT of stairs and then to a viewpoint to see the falls from up above. More photos HERE

I added links to each waterfall’s own post on the blog for you to see more pictures. I hope you can start your own waterfall adventure, and perhaps add a few waterfalls that aren’t even listed here. We still have a few we haven’t seen yet that we are planning on visiting soon!

p.s. our most favorite place to stop on the way home for some massive scoops of ice-cream is Phil’s Frosty in Cave Junction 🙂
